Big Sur

Hello Big Sur families, and friends,
This week in Big Sur we learned all about the 4th of July! We learned about Stars and Stripes, red, white, and blue, and different activities we can do to celebrate the 4th. For our activities during “choice time” we enjoyed…….
*playing with mini flags in dramatic play
*making red, white, and blue bracelets
*making pictures with 4th of July themed stickers
*making our own flags with red stripes, a blue square, and star stickers

*working together to make a mural for our classroom with our red, white, and blue handprints
*playing BINGO with a 4th of July theme
*playing with cars and people on the road map. We pretended they were going to a parade

*playing with mini flags in dramatic play
We had a lot of fun this week! We hope you all have a very happy fourth!
*Starting when we return (July 6th) we will be sending home all of child’s belongings every day. Nothing will stay in the cubbies at school.
-Please make sure to return EVERYTHING EVERYDAY
*We are closed all next week (June 29 – July 5) for our annual shut down week
*Water bottles must come to school everyday! If your child doesn’t have one, then we’ll call and have to bring one.
