Hello from Grand Teton! This week we learned about pumpkins. We sang, “Have You Ever Seen a Pumpkin?,” “Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate,” and a “Pumpkin Pumpkin” action rhyme.
We also got our bodies moving to the “Monster Stomp.”
We made pumpkin sun catchers by sticking orange tissue paper on contact paper!
We played with cloth pumpkins in our muffin pan.
We read, “Biscuit Visits the Pumpkin Patch,” “Leaf Jumpers,” and “The Perfect Nest.”
We explored the squishy insides of a pumpkin. We played with the pumpkin seeds in a sensory bag!
We practiced dressing up in our dramatic play hats. We ended our week with a costume parade through Parkside!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Parkside is closed November 11th for teacher training.
