This week in Zion was all about the red, white and blue!
Zion friends learned about Independence Day, the holiday on the 4th of July!
The classroom was dedicated to teaching about what the holiday means, how to celebrate, and exciting things to do on the 4th of July.
Zion loved learning about the Flag, and even more about the colors red white and blue. It was a great week in Zion singing songs and reading books about the holiday! We had so much fun!
Zion friends had a great time playing in the red, white and blue rice sensory bin, looking for stars and treasure.
It was so exciting to get to make our own coffee filter stars and use the spray bottles with water. The children enjoyed the art, but mostly spraying each other with water!! 🙂
As a class, we built and painted our very own play rockets to fly around the classroom and watch for the classroom fireworks!
Happy 4th of July, from the Zion classroom!
