Olympic

This week in Olympic we learned about presidents and pennies. With Monday being presidents day we discussed who George Washington and Abe Lincoln are, where they lived and what they did for our country.

For work boards in our art station, our friends created their own paper money by looking at toy money and coins as an example. They colored, drew faces, and cut out the money they made.

In our science center, we had dirty pennies with water and vinegar. Our friends got to clean them and see what worked better water or vinegar.

In 123, we created 1 to 1 patterns with our unifix cubes all the way to as much as 10 blocks/cubes.

Lincoln logs were used in the block area to build Lincoln log cabins.

In our sensory table, we took magnets and collected paper clips out of the water.
