Ahoy Mateys!

This week in Zion we had so much fun learning about pirates! We loved pretending to be pirates. We even learned cool pirate saying like “ahoy mateys,” “arrrr,” and “shiver me timbers.”

During activities this week we enjoyed…

Making parrots out of the letter “P,”

Walking the plank just like a pirate,

Making our own pirate hats,

Painting plastic cups to make a spy glass,

Making a picture of ourselves as a pirate,

Making a pirate ship out of paper plates and popsicle sticks.

• Please bring in water shoes if you haven’t already.
• Please remember to keep cubbys stocked with 2 sets of clothes.
• Please remember to check folders daily.
