Spring is here! We celebrated the first day of spring with a visit from Miss Cyndi. She taught us about loons and the patterns on their feathers. We got to explore a taxidermy loon and then we made our own patterns with chalk and black paper!
During workboards we:
Decorated B’s for butterflies.
Painted with flowers instead of brushes.
Counted ladybug spots
Inspected parts of a flower.
And, played games on our classroom computer!
We also planted seeds in our rice table.
And, turned our dramatic play area into a florist shop!
- Spring is here, but we are still having some cold days
- Please keep sending hats, mittens, snowpants, etc!
- As it warms up, the playground is muddy! Extra socks and pants are needed!
- Next week, March 29th is our last visit to Fields4Kids!
Have a great weekend!
