Hello Yosemite families! This week we finished up our “Winter in Maine” theme with a meek learning about winter transportation.
We started the week with Miss. Trudi who brought us some real science equipment to test out. We had a lot of fun with pipettes and goggles!
During work boards this week, we sorted cars by color into the correct parking spots,
and made tracks with cars going down a large hill!
We used our train set to construct our own story of “Thomas gets a Snowplow.” Friends used shaving cream, styrofoam, and cotton balls to create a “winter wonderland” for our cars to drive through.
We snowplowed at the rice table,
and pretended to snowmobile in dramatic play!
- We will be closed for conferences Friday, March 10th
- PTA meeting at 5:30 – all are welcome!
- Please make sure your child has extra socks, mittens, and pants. The playground is very wet and muddy!
Have a great weekend!
