Hello from Grand Teton! This week we concluded our “Winter in Maine” theme talking about birds. We read books about different birds throughout the week like, “Quick Duck,” “The Pigeon has Feelings, too!” and “Winter Friends.” We sang songs like, “Two Little Black birds,” and a winter animal song.
We looked for birds while taking a buggy ride with friends. We played with feathers and explored a bird’s nest.
We made a comfy nest of our own using one of our giant pillows. We played with the birds from our wall mural and our toy eggs.
We made food for our winter bird friends here at Parkside using oranges and cheerios. We hung it out front on our bird feeder.
Reminders: Next week we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Look for the special dress up days listed on our classroom board. Parkside will closed March 10th for teacher training. Have a great weekend!
