This week we learned about forms of water (solid, liquid, gas)
We had a baking soda mountain, and used colored vinegar with eye droppers and watched the chemical reaction!
We mixed colors together by using eye droppers and transferring to colors.
We guessed/discovered which objects floated and sank!
Using tongs, we picked up pieces of ice.
We sprinkled salt on the ice and watched the ice melt.
Friends made kool aid art by sprinkling kool aid on the paper, and painting with water and watched the color transform!
Oobleck was a fun activity! We watched it go from a solid to a liquid right in our hands!
- Parkside’s 10th birthday is Tuesday January 10th! We are celebrating all day by having a birthday party! Please wear your Parkside colors!
- If you would like, you can bring in a gift (donation to a food bank, animal shelter, or money for St. Judes). We will be having party games all day!
- Please label all of your child’s items (clothes, hats, gloves, etc.)
Have a great weekend!
