Hello from Grand Teton!
December is certainly flying along. This week we explored trees. We sang, “O Christmas Tree.” We explored the smell and texture of different types of trees.
We discovered what a pine cone looks and feels like too!
We even used a piece of the tree branch as a paint brush to make trees to hang on our room door. We have been working hard on the artwork for our door. We have made snowflakes with our hands and a snowman with our footprint. Keep an eye out, we should have the decorations complete soon!
Some of the books we read this week were, “Let’s Get Together,” “Look At That!” and “How to Build a Snowman.” We have been building our core strength as we play on our tummies. We have been learning how to roll over and how to get down on our bellies from the seated position .
Reminders: Parkside is closed December 26th, and January 2nd.
Have a great weekend and stay warm!
