Hello from Grand Teton!
This week we learned about our bodies. We looked for our baby doll’s eyes, nose and mouth as we had baby doll circle time.
We used our voices and tongues to make sounds as our teachers echoed them back to us. We used our hands to play patty cake and for reaching and grasping toys. We used our feet to play music on our toy piano. We liked using our legs to jump. We had fun playing on the floor learning how we can move our bodies. We have been practicing sitting up and rolling over. We have also been learning that we can move our bodies by pushing ourselves backwards while on our tummies.
We had plenty of laughs and giggles as we played peek a boo with the scarves.
We read, “Eyes, Nose Fingers and Toes,” “Where Is Baby’s Bellybutton?” and “Baby Faces.” We want to thank Madeline’s family for donating some books to our room!
Reminders: Parkside is closed Monday December 26th and Monday January 2nd.
Have a great weekend!
