This week in Yellowstone was all about Turkeys!

We colored turkey shapes to hang on our windows, the sunshine will shine through the turkeys!

We practiced our fine motor skills using turkey shaped lacing cards, and picked up feathers with tweezers.

Friends made food collages and talked about what type of foods we enjoy.

We even make hand prints and added eyes to make our prints look like turkeys.

In Yellowstone we are working on our independence by practicing the “Flip Trick” for our coats, and working on putting on our hats, boots, and mittens by ourselves. Any help you encourage at home will be greatly appreciated!

Our playground time has changed in the afternoon, due to daylight savings time. So now, we have been doing more activities in our room in the late afternoon… We painted, played in the water table, and we got to pick things up with big grabbers!

  • Parkside is closed for Thanksgiving on November 24th and 25th.

Have a wonderful weekend!
