This week in Big Sur we learned about nocturnal animals. We talked about what nocturnal means and emphasized on the moon.
We made a night sky with a bat, moon, and stars!
We painted with “owl” feathers.
We made the letter R raccoons, and made our own binoculars out of paper towel rolls.
Using foam blocks, we made a zoo and had zoo animals.
We practiced our counting and one-to-one correspondence by adding bugs to the jars.
We matched nocturnal animals.
In the sandbox, we added spiders and bats!
