Hello from Grand Teton!
This week our theme was woodland animal friends. We loved playing with the realistic looking stuffed owl, deer and bunnies. We sang a song about squirrels and how they gather nuts for the winter. We also learned about the different sounds woodland animals make.
We read, “Some Babies Sleep,” “I am a Bunny,” and “The Bear went over the Mountain.” We also read a book called, “Who Do you Love?” We liked touching the different fuzzy pictures of bears in this book. We made owl decorations using our footprints.
We’ve been learning how we can move our bodies and building our core strength as we work on sitting up and getting into the crawl position.
We have been enjoying this warm October weather as we were able to get out onto the playground and visit with our older friends.
Have a wonderful weekend!
