Hello from Grand Teton!
This week our theme was, “Sing, Laugh, Dance and Play. We certainly had a lot of activity going on in our room! We sang songs with motions like, “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,” “Itsy Bitsy Spider,” and the “Tick Tock song.” We had plenty of giggles as we played peek a boo with the scarves and the tickle game as we did the rhyme, “Round and Round the Garden.” We introduced the sign for “play.”
We spent a lot of time on the floor together smiling and interacting with our friends. We worked on building our core body strength with tummy time. We practiced rolling over and learning to get into the crawl position and move our bodies.
We experimented with a new texture as we played with feathers. We liked it when the teacher used the feather to tickle our feet!
We read, “Dooby, Dooby Moo,” “Fiddle-I-Fee,” and “Horns to Toes and In Between.”
Have a great weekend!
