Hello from Grand Teton!
This week our theme was things that fly.
In our dramatic play, we dressed up as a butterfly and a ladybug. We found the butterfly, ladybug and bee on our wall mural. We continued to work on our signing. This week we practiced the sign for “eat” and introduced the sign for “bird.”
We read, “Superhero Me!,” “Whirly the Helicopter,” “I Kissed the Baby!,” and one of our favorites, “Winnie the Pooh and The Big Storm.
We have been working on our gross motor skills. We have been learning to roll over and reach for our toys, worked on pulling ourselves up and gaining balance as we learn to maneuver the gross motor mat.
We made some summer decorations for our bulletin board. We created bbq pictures by using orange paint and our hands as our paint brush.
- Bring in your favorite book to share on Friday.
