Hello from Grand Teton!
This week we continued learning about the things of Spring, as we talked about rain and mud. We read the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” book and sang the song with the motions. We also read, “Little Cloud,” and “Rain, Rain, Go Away.”
We sang the Rain Drop Rhythm song while we drummed on plastic containers. We learned to drum slow like the sounds of rain drops. We mixed red, yellow and green paint together in sensory bags to make the color of mud. We also added sand to our (paint) mud and made a muddy footprint collage. The sand really tickled our feet! We had fun climbing up our ramp covered in bubble wrap. Some of the bubbles made a loud popping noise as we crawled on them.
We worked on using gentle hands and showing kindness as we had baby doll circle time. We’ve had fun crawling through the tunnel and going on buggy rides down the hall with our friends too!
Have a great weekend!
