Hello from Big Sur!
Since the snow FINALLY came… This week we learned about SNOW.
We used shaving cream, and wrote letters in it… And just played!
We made snowflakes and worked on our fine motor and scissor skills.
Each friend decorated our own mitten with stickers, pom poms, and so much more.
We used hole reinforcements and pretended they were snowballs and put them along our names.
We drew pictures of ourselves playing in the snow.
We put on our mittens and got to scoop some snow and play in it.
Since we use salt outside to melt the ice, we practiced some letters using magnets as a reference.
We were able to play and paint with some bubble wrap and decorate snowmen.
Our two-step project was using glue on our paper, with paint, and sprinkled salt on it to look like ice!
Using paper towel rolls, we made snowman towels.
Our friends really enjoyed playing outside i the snow and using the sled and the shovels.
- Please made sure your child has TWO pairs of gloves, pants, shirts, socks, etc.
- This is especially important because of the snow now!
- Parent/Teacher advisory meeting is January 28th.
Have a great weekend!
