This week we learned all about pumpkins! We passed a pumpkin around at circle time and described it.
We explored the inside of a pumpkin!
The kids worked together to build a ramp to roll pumpkins down.
We used orange paint, and painted pumpkins! Some made their own pumpkin patch
We worked on fine motor skills and ripped orange paper to make our own paper plate pumpkins!
We talked about the different parts of a pumpkin! This was a great introduction to our Halloween themed week!
- Friday October 30th, your child may wear their Halloween costumes to school! We ask for you child to not wear any masks or have toy weapons. Also, no candy is allowed in the center.
- We will take the children’s costumes off after we have the parade and store them away for the day!
- The book fair is the week of November 9th.
- Now that it is getting colder, please bring hats, gloves, and a warm jacket. Be sure everything is labeled.
We are sad to say goodbye to Miss Kenzie this week. We wish her the best in her new nanny position! We will miss you Miss Kenzie!
Have a great weekend!
