Christmas has come and gone but the holiday spirit is still alive and well here in Yosemite! The last few weeks have been filled with class discussions and activities about various traditions like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Gingerbread! Last week alone we had a visit from Miss Trudy and her “Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches,” Tuesday we performed our Holiday Concert with Miss Caroline for our parents and Friday was the most exciting because we got to watch “Frosty the Snowman” and Miss Jen M-R visited us to make our annual Gingerbread Cookies from scratch. We want to extend a special thanks to Beth Bisson, Amy Guerrette, Amanda and Ryan Robinson and Stephanie Heal for volunteering their time and helping us make cookies as well. We had a blast decorating the cookies we made later that day. We are wishing you all a safe but happy New Year and look forward to seeing you in 2013!
